Provide advanced administrative support for two Regional Directors in International Advancement (IA) in order to help build a strong and supportive community of international alumni, parents and friends at Brown University. This position will handle most administrative duties, which include but are not limited to: meeting/travel arrangements, database maintenance, correspondence and briefings, research, and event support. This position is also responsible for most information technology tasks and functions in support of the directors. This position requires excellent oral and written communication skills, a positive attitude, a high level of organization, initiative and professionalism.
Education and Experience
Bachelorâ™s degree and two years of experience in a direct-related field.Â Â
Experience in a higher-education, fundraising, or non-profit setting required.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Strong project/time management skills essential.
Strong cultural competency.
Must be detail-oriented and have an ability to handle and complete multiple projects concurrently.
Demonstrated ability with computer software programs including but not limited to, word processing, spreadsheets, and Google Drive.Â Use of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word is required.
Knowledge of Blackbaud preferred.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Must have a degree of computer proficiency and Information Management Skills to carry out the major responsibilities of this position.
Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
