Detailed Job Description You would be responsible for the day-to-day workings of supporting new and returning students; RIT alumni; and employers interested in RIT students and graduates. This job is very much about people. Students are why we are here. It is exciting to see them grow from a quiet freshman to a confident senior. You also will interact with RIT alum thinking about returning to the area. The relationships you form is absolutely critical, because that's what enables you to become a true partner. Your professionalism, loyalty and attitude are a reflection of the office, and as such, are a key component to its success.
On any given day you will be responsible for:
Managing on-campus interviewing logistics and preparing daily recruiting activities for employers, students and staff
Coordinating employer presentations/tables in academic areas by reserving rooms through the institute registrar system and through discussions with institute personnel; reserve AV equipment through appropriate RIT departments
Actively participating in planning and implementation of all on campus programs including the fall & spring campus wide career fairs, Accounting, Civil, Packaging, and Creativity Fairs. Help coordinate campus facilities, such as room reservations, catering, and parking for each event
Maintaining the online recruiting presentation calendar through RIT Career Connect and communicates with recruiters and staff. Add events to RIT events calendar
Utilizing on campus recruiting system software to provide detailed and comprehensive statistics upon request
Department/College Description Career Services & Co-op provides effective, high-quality services to RIT students, alumni, and employer partners. Undergraduate and Graduate students, as well as alumni, are supported through their career development and job search success for on-campus, co-op, and full-time jobs. We also provide tremendous support to our employer partners for their recruitment needs on-campus through career fairs, information sessions, and on-campus interviews.

Required Minimum Qualifications
Strong customer service experience in a fast-paced environment
Strong planning and organizational experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent presentation skills
Ability to manage multiple projects
Excellent attention to detail
Proficient computer skills, especially database and Web-based technology
Ability to organize and prioritize assignments
Good communicator of intricate computerized programs and procedures
Ability to work with minimum supervision
