In collaboration with surgical, medical, anesthesia teams and administrative leadership, the Nurse Leader, Peri-Operative Services at JRSC is responsible for planning, directing and managing the clinical and operational functions of the Pre-Surgical Center (PSC), Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), Operating Room (OR) and Extended Recovery Program (AXR)(during all hours of operation).
The Nurse Leader provides clinical and administrative leadership for nursing staff by developing and implementing programs, services, procedures and quality nursing standards to ensure exemplary care for patients undergoing surgical procedures at JRSC. In addition to collaborating with other healthcare team members to develop and attain unit/divisional/departmental goals, the Nurse Leader is pivotal in offering transformational leadership by creating and sustaining a healthy work environment that supports, fosters and promotes excellence in patient care, clinical nursing practice, and patient safety.

Work Monday-Friday, with weekend rotation as needed
A minimum of 5 years recent Operating Room experience and other related perioperative services experience.
A bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master's degree is required (MSN preferred).
A NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license and registration
Demonstrated leadership skills and hold related certifications
