Our Development Department , seeks a Development Coordinator to join a dynamic team in securing significant philanthropic support from foundations and corporations.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Corporate & Foundation Relations (CFR), the Development Coordinator will:
Provide management of the daily operations of the CFR, including recordkeeping, database maintenance, scheduling, reporting, budgets, analysis, research, and fundraising.
Assist in budget, activity, and report planning by producing regular and ad hoc analyses.
Work with divisions across Development and other MSK departments to meet team goals.
Oversee a small portfolio of donors.
Initiate analysis of issues, present recommendations to leadership.
Capable of anticipating and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders.
Able to work effectively in an environment notable for complex, sometimes contradictory information.
A good decision-maker, with proven success at making timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward.
Action-oriented and eager to embrace new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.
A Bachelors degree and at least 2 years relevant Development experience (a minimum of 4 years of experience required in lieu of a Bachelors degree).
Possess excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to built rapport and communicate effectively both in-person, remotely, and via written correspondence.
Strong Microsoft Office skills are essential.
