This is a TEMPORARY position within the Temporary Office of the President Staffing (TOPS) program. It involves developing, implementing and / or maintaining recruitment and other employment and sourcing programs and policies. Provides advice and counsel on employment practices and recruitment processes.
Technical leader who provides guidance to all levels within the organization, utilizing specialized employment expertise within area of responsibility to resolve highly complex issues in creative and effective ways. Recruiting and search efforts represent difficult or unique positions to staff. Internal and external contacts often pertain to significant employment programs and objectives. Normally receives little direction on assignments. May serve in a lead capacity, providing guidance to other employment professionals.
Provides direction and guidance to other staff members. Works in a highly collaborative manner with others across the organization, external contacts of significance, and members of organization management. May develop, design and implement marketing plans and/or collaborate with advertising specialists on the development and implementation of marketing plans. Draft search and other recruitment materials, as needed. Prioritizes own work assignments, identifies problems, conducts complex and varied analysis of issues or concepts, develops resulting recommendations, works with business units in the development of ideas and strategies to address short- and long-term employment issues. Resolves a wide range of employment issues using advanced skills as an employment professional with a comprehensive understanding of employment and recruiting practices and organization policies and procedures. Sources, recruits, screens, interviews and recommends candidates for all levels of positions. Applies advanced professional employment and staffing techniques and concepts in varied and diverse settings. Works with external resources including temporary agencies, contract search and internet sourcing tools. In collaboration with EO / SAA, consults with and educates management on complex affirmative action matters and related policies and procedures. Engages in networking and outreach related activities to build and assess qualified applicants as needed. Places employment ads in newspapers and other publications, on the Internet and other appropriate sources, and utilizes outside agencies as needed. Provides classroom training presentations to designated client groups on HR employment related topics. Ensures that sourcing and recruitment efforts comply with federal and state laws, systemwide policies, and local procedures governing EEO/AA. Functions as a technical specialist, sourcing, recruiting and identifying candidates for highly specialized and difficult-to-attract positions, usually requiring extensive search.
Education: Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
Salary: $42.00 - $45.00 / hour
