The Member Services Support Specialist (MSSS) will be directly responsible for daily operations of the Member Services area and functions at the Recreation and Wellness Center from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The MSSS will be responsible for the hiring, training, development, supervision, and mentoring of undergraduate Member Services student staff and will ensure proper staff scheduling for effective service. The support specialist will problem solve and manage member issues as well as create, implement, and provide service training and a member satisfaction program. The MSSS will also have some administrative functions related to the student staff in the Strength Training and Conditioning area. The MSSS will be responsible for completion and submission of payroll for all Member Services and Strength Training & Conditioning student staff at the Recreation & Wellness Center. The MSSS will contribute to the continued development of the division's overall mission and strategic initiatives. Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid/AED certification within 3 months of employment and CPR/First Aid/AED Instructor certification within 12 months of employment.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree plus two years of customer service experience; equivalent education/experience considered. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and PC computer basics. Supervisory experience. Must have a valid driver's license and meet University driver eligibility requirements.
Bachelor's degree in recreation, business, leadership, communications, sport management, or related field. Experience with Filemaker Pro, When to Work, RecTrac/FinTrac software or other recreation management software. Experience with preparing and submitting payroll for an organization. Experience training and leading college students. CPR/First Aid Instructor certification.
Posted Salary: $18.269/hr minimum
