Bachelorâs degree and 2 years of related experience
Master's Degree in Natural Resources, Environmental Science, Sustainable Agriculture or a related discipline Experience in field- and watershed-level conservation planning in the US Corn Belt Experience with natural resource economics and finanical analysis Experience with ArcGIS and coding in Python, specifically with development and use of Agricultural Conservation Planning Framework (ACPF) datasets and toolboxes
Summary Responsible for the operation of a moderately complex specialized research area or laboratory.
Example of Duties â¢ Develops, designs and conducts one or more moderately complex research projects or experiments in line with plan, reviews progress and evaluates results. â¢ Formulates research methods and suggests options for improving quality, identifies potential problems, recommends and implements solutions, and collaborates in the development of new techniques. â¢ Assists with publications and writing or developing grants. â¢ Trains users in equipment operation and laboratory techniques, explains and demonstrates technology and equipment capabilities, operations, limitations and outcomes. â¢ Coordinates data collection and screening and verifies the data. â¢ Conducts analysis of data, interprets and implements research methodology based on outcome of analysis. â¢ May act as a co-author.
