The Research Coordinator is responsible for providing care to patients with HIV and working with patients with HIV enrolled in clinical trials. Responsible for coordinating clinical research activities for the HIV Service of the UNMC Division of Infectious Diseases. Assist the UNMC Principal Investigators and Nurse Research Coordinators in project management, coordination of clinical research projects and operations and implementation of clinical trials and research projects. Provide tracking and preparation of study specific documents according to human subjects' research regulations. Use independent decision making to provide data collection and case management for the various protocols. Works to ensure trials and projects move forward based on both time and budget. Plays an integral role in the communication between sponsors, sites and team members.
