The Accounting Associate will be responsible for customer service and cashiering for students and departments in person, on the telephone, through email and via RT help tickets. Specific duties include:
Processing student, departmental, off campus, and grant payments received in person and in the mail
Reconciling cash and checks daily
Presenting student financial account-related information at orientations and other events
Assisting with the student billing process; researching and analyzing accounts
Performing other duties as assigned
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Requires a High School Diploma/GED and four years accounting clerical experience.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills. A strong commitment to exceeding customer expectations, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail and accuracy required. Proficiency in MS Office required.
Customer service and cashiering experience in a higher education environment as well as PeopleSoft experience strongly preferred.
