Reports to the Technical Director. This position works with Technical Director to supervise and coordinate technical and production aspects of performances in a variety of art forms, special events, and Martin Center programs, especially regarding audio/sound needs for productions and performances. Responsibilities include:
Assists inexperienced producing/presenting organizations with recommendations regarding sound reinforcement and acoustical needs for live performances;
Collaborates with facility users, professionals, students, and renters;
Assists with sound and other recording needs for resident facility users;
Preserves a safe working environment and smooth transitions between events;
Works with student and contract employees;
Serve as onsite assistant Technical Director for all Martin School and rental events and other assigned events in the facility;
Facility management, scheduling and general maintenance as needed.
