Greets visitors, staff, students, and faculty providing appropriate information for their business or directs persons to proper offices and resources, in a manner that promotes a welcoming atmosphere to the students and visitors to the office;
Establishes rapport and maintains professional and friendly interaction with students and visitors;
Multitask in a fast-paced, high traffic office;
Handles confidential information in a responsible manner;
Assists students/parents by providing answers to standard financial aid questions, and acting as liaison between the student/parent and the counselors and/or processors;
Takes incoming documents at the front counter and codes them as received in Banner;
Supervises student employees at the front desk to ensure the accuracy of job performance;
Takes primary responsibility for the office email account, responding to emails from students/parents or routing to counselors as appropriate;
Replies to email inquiries with accurate answers;
Researches call-back requests from students/parents and contacts them back by phone or email;
Opens, date stamps, and routes office postal mail to appropriate personnel;
Logs any checks received and hand carries them to the Office of the Bursar.
