Supervises Cornerstone Cafe on the UNH campus, serving signature coffee beverages and a modest lunch & breakfast menu inside the prestigious Paul College building. This is a hands-on, working supervisory role. The right candidate understands that they play an active role in service. Responsible for the training and supervision of potentially 1 or more full-time associates and at least 20 or more student associates with regular managerial support. Responsible for ordering, scheduling, hiring, inventory, and quality assurance in their location.
1. High school graduation or equivalent and 3 years of experience in a food service operation. 2. Knowledge of food service techniques, sanitation and safety. 3. Two years related supervisory experience. 4. Strong interpersonal skills are required due to the strategic location, community/University implications and mission of these units. 5. Ability to multi-task and self-prioritize. 6. Must be able to wear and use appropriate personal protective equipment as necessary.
