This individual reports to the Dean of the School of Health Professions and Natural Sciences and provides confidential administrative assistance and support for responsibilities and functions related to clinical affiliation requirements. Verifies that all clinical affiliate screening requirements and other related paperwork are met prior to the start of each clinical rotation and for the duration of the clinical rotation including criminal history background checks, urine drug screenings, health physical documentation, immunizations and tuberculin testing, malpractice insurance and CPR. Communicates and coordinates with TABB. Works in coordination with HPNS Dean’s Office and Business Services Coordinator in organizing and maintaining clinical affiliation agreements for all health professions programs. Assists Chairs and Assistant Chairs in those activities related to assignment of students to clinical rotation sites, including distribution of clinical rotation schedules, student rosters, objectives, and contact information to clinical affiliates prior to the start of each semester. Maintains and updates Student Handbooks for health professions programs. Other duties requested by the supervisor.
Qualifications - Skills: Technology proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, databases, and LMS (currently Bb) and other software utilized by the college.
Excellent telephone and electronic communication skills. Attention to detail and self-motivated. Excellent organizational and communication (written, verbal and electronic) skills. Able to work cooperatively with students, colleagues and within all departments in the college. Ability to work under pressure. Sensitivity in handling confidential information.
Qualifications - Experience: Related experience as noted above preferably in an academic or healthcare setting.
Qualifications - Education: High School graduate and 1-2 years secretarial experience.
