The Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is a fully accredited training program that seeks to deliver collaborative, high quality, compassionate service that promotes education, research, and high-quality clinical care. Doernbecher Childrens Hospital (DCH) is one of two Childrens Hospitals in the State of Oregon.
This position is an academic appointment employed in the OHSU Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry with work primarily at Doernbecher Childrens Hospital. The ideal candidate will work well in teams and understand the value of this exciting, forward-thinking collaboration.
This position will involve delivery of Psychiatric assessment and treatment services in DCH and ED. This position also supports training of interdisciplinary team members in providing high-quality, evidence-based care to improve patient outcomes.
This setting creates opportunities for collaboration, with Child Psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members focused on patient care with a biopsychosocial approach to complex patient evaluations and treatment planning.
The duties for this position will break down as follows:
80% providing clinical services
20% providing education to interdisciplinary team members
Licensed as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in the State of Oregon
Experience with emergency and inpatient child psychiatry
