The Assistant Site Supervisor is charged with assisting the Site Supervisor by being responsible for the daily operation of a Head Start or Early Head Start Child Development Center to ensure compliance with Title 22 regulations and program goals.Â This includes assistance with monitoring and supervision all activities within the center t assure a safe, healthy and attractive environment. This is critical for compliance of Head Start/Early Head Start Performance Standards regulations that govern the health and safety of all children in enrolled in the program as outlined in Performance standard 1302.47(A) and (B). The position is grant funded and contingent on continued funding.
Hours/Salary: Full time, $20.52-$20.88/hourly
Bachelor of Arts/Science preferred in early childhood education or child development.
Commission on Teacher Credentialing Child Development Site Supervisor or higher Permit
1 year of experience working in an early education setting with children 3-5 years
Bilingual: English/Spanish Preferred
CPR & First Aide Certificate (may be obtained after applying but before starting)
Knowledge of Head Start Performance Standards.
Physical Exam and TB Screening within last 12 Months
Live Scan Clearance from the Department of Justice (DOJ)
Proof of Influenza, Measles and Pertussis vaccinations or medical note with exemption
Must have a car, be able to drive, have a valid CA driverâs license, and current auto insurance
