Entry level data manager, designs and implements data management systems for basic medical research projects supported by the Department of Biostatistics and School of Public Health. When working on more complex studies, the work is performed under the guidance of a senior data manager. Uses entry level SAS programming for manipulating the research data, performing quality control checks and producing analysis datasets. Acquires and applies Good Clinical Data Management Practices (GCDMP) while working on specific parts of a project.
Education / Work Experience
Combinations of related education and experience may be considered.
Bachelor degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field and six months of programming and database design experience. SAS and SQL experience.

Working Conditions / Demands
Remaining in a stationary position for extended periods of time, input data, review PC output, communicate with investigators and co-workers in person and by telephone.
