Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Research Teaching Specialist V for the Department of Anesthesiology within the New Jersey Medical School.
Under the direction of the Principal Investigator, prepares and submits regulatory documents, participates in Sponsor's Monitor visits, screens and enrolls the subjects, maintains and expands clinical and translational research.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Participates in the evaluation of existing procedures suggesting revisions where necessary, and proposing new procedures where required.
Completes case report forms as required. Independently obtains and records data outlined in research protocols.
Maintains clinical trial documents required by the UH and the NJMS.
Collects, processes, and ships specimens as required by the protocol.
Ensures quality control of study data.
Ensures that laboratory equipment is maintained.
Keeps detailed records of procedures and experiments.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant science.
Prior research experience an asset.
