Under general direction, assists in the coordination of the residency programs in compliance with the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) guidelines; processes registrations; coordinates the resident application and evaluation process; creates and maintains databases; compiles and distributes various schedules; provides administrative support.
Coordinates residency programs and the recruitment process; generates correspondence to applicants; prepares and maintains various databases and files; audits findings and communicates results; assists with compiling, preparing, and/or coordinating materials, evaluations, and reports; coordinates the resident evaluation process; compiles and distributes various departmental schedules.
Assists incoming residents and staff with start-up functions including orientation, information packets, and certificates; designs and distributes rotation schedules and evaluations; composes, types, transcribes, and distributes correspondence and other materials.
Maintains, tracks, and reviews resident files, personnel records, medical records, contract renewals, licensure, and professional membership and activities.
Complies with reporting requirements of the University and Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education.
Provides additional administrative support; performs other duties as assigned.
