Advertised Job Summary:
Under minimum supervision, the Fire Safety Officer II is responsible for after-hours preventative maintenance, repairs, and emergency responses. All systems must be repaired in accordance with NFPA and all state codes. Assist fire safety department with after hour fire alarm trouble calls, emergency responses, assigned fire drills, fire extinguisher and fire sprinkler issues. Remain available to respond to emergencies and/or perceived incidents 24 hours a day as needed.
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
High school diploma and 2 years experience in fire-fighting equipment maintenance, fire prevention or fire fighting. Experience in maintaining, testing, and repairing fire alarm systems as well as other life safety systems. South Carolina Driver's License required.
