The Job Accommodation Network (JAN) at West Virginia University is seeking an individual with a Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, Social Work, Industrial and Labor Relations, Human Resources, Safety Engineering, Business Administration or related fields for the position of Consultant. JAN is the premier workplace accommodation and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance consultation service of the U.S. Department of Labor. This junior level Consultant provides highly specialized disability related information and referral services to customers of the JAN, a nationally renowned consulting service. The Consultant will provide direct services to JAN customers including individuals with disabilities, rehabilitation professions, and others. The Consultant also assists more senior consultants with external training and publication development. This position provides support to both external (more than 50,000 individuals with a disability, rehabilitation professionals, and other service users) and internal customers (10 Consultants and Lead and Senior level as well as two Principal Consultants, 4 technical staff, and Program Director and Manager) of the JAN.
