Department: School, Community and Workforce Training Programs
Days and Hours: AY:M-F 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.; SMR:M-R 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
1.Provide technical support necessary for training programs offered for the Career & Technical Institute and Personal Enrichment. 2.Maintain knowledge of Department of Labor Training Grants. 3.Maintain knowledge of State websites such as Eligible Training Provider (ETPL) and DOL site. 4.Act as a liaison to other departments regarding inquiries to Workforce Training and Continuing Education. 5.Responsible for registration, cancellations and refunds. 6.Process invoicing for classes; manage instructor payroll and negotiate with instructors for rate of pay. 7.Work with Third Party vendors on an as needed basis, negotiating terms, etc. 8.Provide support for all classroom management functions including; instructional oversight, support for instructors, preparation of all classroom materials, developing classroom schedules, student attendance and any necessary reporting for funded students (i.e., WIA, One Stop, Trade Act or DVRS). 9.Provide assistance in preparing grant applications. 10.Coordinate all training activities with customers. 11.Recruit, advise, register and help retain open-enrollment students and trainees. 12.Attend various career fairs and other events that function as a market for the Career and Technical Institute. 13.Comply with all safety, fire, and smoking regulations. 14.Complete all mandatory compliance and safety training as scheduled by Human Resources. 15.Perform all other duties as assigned.
