PRIMARY FUNCTION: Under general supervision, provides administrative assistance to the Dean, Associate Dean, faculty and staff in the College of Business; assists with evaluating and resolving problems requiring strict confidentiality; responds to requests for information from administrators, faculty, staff, students and public; completes special projects assigned by the Dean, Associate Dean or Administrative Assistant to the Dean; coordinates appointment calendar for the Dean and Associate Dean; provides backup assistance in the financial management of the college; initiates budget adjustments for salary and S&S lines within the College of Business academic departments; initiates standard forms and documents; manages the College of Business Support Services recharge center; supervises student assistants; gathers and organizes data for faculty promotion and tenure process; gathers and organizes College of Business class schedules and assist in assigning classrooms for fall, spring and summer semesters; inputs classroom reservations into online database by the University deadline; accesses university enrollment system to answer questions and provide reports; and performs other related duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Any combination of related clerical office experience, related undergraduate education and/or post high school clerical training that is the equivalent to four years of full-time employment and includes the use of word processing.
