The Office of Development (OOD) supports the goals and purposes of Stanford University. As a member of the Office of Development's Digital Strategy & Services (DSS) team, the Creative Projects Specialist will act as project manager and intake lead on creative projects spanning the multiple teams in support of Stanford University's fundraising operation.
Working across multiple teams, this role will focus on project management efforts that support the digital transformation goals of the organization, bring major fundraising campaign initiatives to life, and help establish new processes that improve efficiency and quality. Projects may include managing broad-based giving day campaigns like Giving Tuesday; digital donor stewardship reports, donor communications, and newsletters spanning print and digital; major proposal packages; multi-channel fundraising campaigns; and large-scale events collateral coordination.
In addition, this role will work closely with the Digital Product Manager and others to onboard a web-based project management tool, ensuring its effective rollout and ongoing adoption.
Your responsibilities include:
Project manage and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality donor communications and campaigns.
Partner to successfully rollout a web-based project management platform.
Partner with multiple creative teams across the organization to establish project intake and review processes.
Manage intake requests from Office of Development clients and clarify expectations.
Setup project templates and organize project drives.
Partner with clients to develop creative briefs and confirm roles and responsibilities.
Assist with documentation and archiving of project assets.
Manage creative professional freelancers on select projects.
Provide quality assurance reviews for digital and creative projects.
Organize and facilitate project debriefs.
Track and report on measures of success.
Provide scheduling, agenda, and recording distribution assistance.
Maintain and deliver project status and resource reports.
Setup and manage calendars in support of budget, human resources, and major projects.
Setup freelancers, vendors, and process billing, and assist with collateral production.
Assist with providing clients access to resources, templates, and tools.
Contribute to process documentation and training material organization.

To be successful in this position, you will bring:
Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.
Project management experience, ideally demonstrating increased responsibility over time.
