This position will provide advanced skills and creativity to showcase ICL's achievements in the high-performance computing community. As part of the Technical Services group of ICL, this position has overall responsibility for the development and maintenance of the communication infrastructure and products, which impact all levels of the organization, by concisely and expeditiously creating, or otherwise providing, strategic, accurate, and understandable information regarding organizational activities. As technical services leader of this group, responsibilities include planning and coordinating the group's activities. He/she is expected to lead or participate in the development and editing of research papers, documentation, multimedia communications, agency reporting, and other publications and information dissemination efforts dependent upon the respective activity and audience. The position will publicize work in an attractive and professional manner on all media, including written and printed material, as well as electronic and digital media, as they are the first contact for many prospective employees, funders and collaborators. This position also tracks and coordinates the graduate student participation in the Interdisciplinary Graduate Minor in Computational Science (IGMCS) program, which is led by ICL, and coordinates ICL's community outreach activities. This position can include supervision of students or other technical staff.
