Research Technician - Department of Immunology, School of Medicine - (21001425)
This is a grant funded position and is not eligible for severance pay.
The Immunology Dept focuses its research and education on investigating disease mechanism broadly related to chronic inflammatory conditions. This position involves research on osteoarthritis pathogenesis and treatment.
Under close supervision of Principal Investigator, conducts a variety of routine experiments following established procedures and protocols, which may include performing assays, tissue culture, electrophoresis, and other laboratory techniques. May also record test results, analyze data using basic statistics, maintain laboratory equipment and supplies, and monitor animal colonies.
Bachelor's degree in science with up to 1 year laboratory experience.
Familiarity with basic laboratory techniques and procedures
Comfortable with lab animal handling
