The Associate Director of Accreditation and Evaluation is the Schools primary accreditation officer. Responsible for on-going, year-round accreditation processes for 17 accrediting agencies (with 1 additional accreditation in development). Responsible for ensuring that all accredited programs meet professional licensure standards for more than two dozen academic programs, enrolling more than 2000 undergraduate and graduate students annually. Supervises alignment of data collection with programmatic mandates of accreditors, mapping data collection to academic standards and benchmarks. Reviews drafts of self-studies, prepares programs for site visits, and monitors communications with outside accreditors. Ensures continuous program improvement by working with faculty to use data to effect interventions and change in curricula to support student success as mandated by accreditors. Manages all accreditation-related budget expenses. Leads school compliance with federal/state regulations and NC-SARA requirements regarding licensure and certification, in collaboration with academic departments and programs. Supervises one full-time administrator and two-three student workers.
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Education: Master's Degree Experience working in a university/college environment.
Required Experience: 5+ years Relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must include experience managing operations and staff, planning and implementing activities and events, and administering budgets.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to develop, implement and interpret policies and procedures and communicate sensitive information verbally and in writing to a diverse population. Familiarity with word processing, spreadsheet, and database software. Strong writing and editing skills.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Ability to write and edit reports based on data analyses, academic standards, and benchmarks. Experience working with national accrediting bodies, commissions, and governmental agencies. Stata, R or similar statistical software; project management software (Asana preferred); familiarity with SIS platforms (UDW+), Albert, Data Visualization software (such as Tableau).
