The Department of Entomology and Plant Pathology is searching for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to conduct research focused on the characterization of insecticidal gene silencing processes and the development of novel tools related to RNA interference (RNAi). Conduct independent research in the field, greenhouse, and laboratory settings
Expectations: Design and perform research plan under the supervision of Dr. Jurat-Fuentes, keep current and organized research records, data archival and preparation of reports, presentation of research data at professional and progress meetings, and preparation of data and manuscripts for publication in appropriate peer-reviewed journals.
