DESCRIPTION: Provides high level of proactive student and customer services at a specified regional campus of the University of Redlands, serving graduate and professional students in the School of Business, School of Education, and School of Continuing Studies. Assists in the day-to-day operations of the campus and management of the facility.
Greets visitors, answers multiple phone lines, serves as front line representative at regional campus
Assists with student related activities and provides event support for various events that occur at the regional campus
Collaborates with the Director of Student Services, regional campus's Assistant Director of Academic Services, School of Business faculty and others as needed to deliver information and services to students enrolled or enrolling into programs at the regional campus
Uses CRM and/or student information systems to look up, enter and monitor various activities and data points
Supports a positive learning/teaching environment and helps to ensure campus is adhering to access and safety requirements
Coordinates with various constituents across the University to confirm space availability, classroom assignments, campus equipment inventories, etc.
Monitors facility to ensure full functionality, reports issues or repairs as needed, to include interacting with building managers as well as main campus departments such as Facilities Management and IT
Maintains calendar for classroom usage; prepares location signs and written and electronic communication about classroom and instructor assignments
Collaborates with others to ensure high-quality experience for all who visit and utilize the regional campus
Coordinates day-to-day office functions including; reception, mail, fax, telephone, e-mail, ordering and tracking office supplies, and managing the routine operations of the campus facility
Performs other duties and special projects as assigned or directed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Position requires a high school diploma or equivalent with two (2) years of additional coursework, Bachelor's degree preferred. A minimum of three (3) years of related experience in a similar position or an equivalent combination thereof. Successful candidate will have basic knowledge of secretarial procedures, methods and techniques; record keeping requirements; and departmental operations and practices; considerable knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet programs and database software is required. Must have strong organizational skills; effective communication, both verbal and written; sort and file documents; focus on multiple tasks, with tight deadlines; use good judgment in organizing and completing assignments, work independently and multi-task. Must be able to competently interact with a culturally and ethnically diverse population of students, faculty, and staff.
