Posting Summary: The Continuing Education Coordinator is responsible for assisting with recruitment, program, and training development for the Center for Extended Education non-credit programs. * Assess and determine the non-credit training needs for courses, seminars, conferences and programs including meeting with prospective clients in the Nashville community to determine training needs. * Develop and offer new non-credit programs or modify and improve existing programs including identifying resources to develop curriculum for non-credit courses and programs. *Develop and organize training / educational materials as needed. * Negotiate, prepare, and route contracts for clients. * Maintain and monitor budget records for the program and prepare budget reports as needed; Accept fees and follow outlined procedures for recording and accepting money; Monitor training costs to ensure the program budget is not exceeded. *Coordinate services for non-credit events/programs such as facility rental, catering, signage, security, audio/visual equipment, and special needs requirements. * Perform other duties as assigned.
