LSA Advancement wants someone like you, a person who embodies integrity, and values trust and authenticity, to be our next Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst. You will work as an esteemed member of our Business Intelligence team, working together in an inclusive team environment, where all viewpoints are encouraged and considered to uncover the best possible solutions. Together, we will turn raw alumni and donor data into valuable, useful information. This information will be used by LSA Advancement and college-wide colleagues to inform decisions and make strategic recommendations to reach our fundraising, stewardship, and engagement goals.
You will report to the Director of Business Intelligence.
What You'll Do
As the BI Analyst Intermediate, you will...
Build a comprehensive understanding of Advancement's business and processes across all teams
Conduct data mining and analysis, perform ad hoc reporting, and build data visualizations in partnership with colleagues
Develop positive and meaningful relationships through your interactions with Advancement's strategic partners
Identify and participate in data integrity projects; run and analyze audit reports to ensure the health of LSA's alumni and donor data
Bachelor's degree and 3 or more years working as a business intelligence or data analyst, or related combined experience
Working knowledge of business productivity tools (Excel and Google Spreadsheets - perform complex functions and macros)
Working knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL)
Experience working with databases, and reporting and data visualization software
Experience in data management and data manipulation, including data mining and segmentation techniques
Experience working with confidential data
