Visiting Assistant Professor, Gender, Sexuality, and Womens Studies
The Department of Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies at the University of California, Davis, invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor appointment effective September 1, 2021 and ending June 30, 2022.
Applicants should have the ability to teach undergraduate courses on transnational and/or intersectional feminist research and theory with a concentration in at least two of the following areas: critical race and ethnic studies; queer and transgender studies; Indigenous or settler colonial studies; labor, migration, and globalization studies; or material ecologies and environmental justice studies.
The appointee must possess evidence of scholarly promise and successful teaching experience in gender and sexuality studies. The successful applicant must have the ability to advise undergraduate students.

A review of the applications will begin on June 15, 2021, but the position will remain open until filled. The Visiting Assistant Professor will receive an annual stipend of $70,100, plus health benefits.
