The Department of Viticulture and Enology is currently recruiting for a Temporary Unit 18 Lecturer for the 2021-22 Academic Year for the Fall Quarter.
They are recruiting a Unit 18 Lecturer to do the following:
Teaching VEN 123: Analysis of Musts and Wines (2 units) This lecture class covers the fundamental principles of analytical chemistry as they relate to specific methods used in winemaking.
Teaching VEN 123L: Analysis of Musts and Wines - Laboratory (2 units) Fundamental principles of analytical chemistry as they relate to specific methods used in winemaking. Laboratory exercises demonstrating various chemical, physical and biochemical methods. Data will be analyzed and results interpreted in weekly lab reports; includes student-designed independent project and written report.
