Washington State University is looking for an experienced art director who will inspire, lead and manage the university's team of graphic designers. If you are skilled at visual storytelling, possess a strong creative vision, and have a passion for team building, we want to hear from you.
Qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's degree in graphic design, multi-media, printing technology, or related field.
At least 8 years full-time professional experience in concept development and design of high-quality promotional materials.
Demonstrated past success leading a team of graphic designers and working on multiple, large-scale projects on tight deadlines.
Experience managing creative development with proven mentoring, supervisory and team-building skills.
Proven experience across multiple forms of creative expression and production, including traditional, digital and social media.
Hands-on experience with design, typography, color, web layout design, print production, image selection and package design.
