The University of Chicago's Biological Sciences Division and the University of Chicago Medical Center (UCM) seeks applications for the newly created position of Executive Vice President and Chief Digital and Technology Officer (CDTO). The appointee will design, lead, and execute a system-wide digital strategy that elevates and effectively integrates UCM's data and analytic capabilities across the enterprise in furtherance of UCM's mission and goals. The appointee will have the unique opportunity to collaboratively shape and implement the digital future of a nationally leading academic medical institution that is globally recognized for its interdisciplinary innovation, quantitative rigor, and groundbreaking achievements in medical science and care delivery.
This CDTO will drive the collaborative development and implementation of an enterprise digital strategy that fosters an integrated, interdisciplinary approach to data and technology that leverages UCM's unique strengths, resources and people. The CDTO will be accountable for driving the digital strategy, business transformation, and operational change that will enable UCM to accelerate access to patient information and virtual healthcare delivery across UCM. The CDTO will help accelerate the implementation of digital and patient-experience oriented initiatives across UCM to fully embrace digital solutions to leverage innovation and drive productivity, connectivity, and engagement.
These efforts will be done in alignment with, and furtherance of, UCM's dedication to being at the forefront of health, discovery, and innovation.
The appointee will be a visionary physician executive and skilled implementer who possesses the exceptional collaborative skills necessary to lead a transformative, large-scale data and technology organization that serves a complex academic medical enterprise with multiple missions. The appointee will have executive leadership experience in healthcare with a proven track record of technology leadership, strategy, and successful execution.
