The Meyer Business on the Frontlines Program is rooted in the belief that there is dignity in work and that all people can be empowered to contribute to society. The program utilizes the dynamic skills of business to address issues including post-conflict rehabilitation, poverty, illicit economies, isolation and prejudice. MBA and other graduate students from across the university explore key themes together such as empathy, barriers to work, identity and mindset while partnering with action-oriented organizations to find local solutions that create jobs or set the conditions for economic growth. Through this experience, students embark on a journey of discovery to broaden their world view and envision new possibilities.
The Logistics & Events Program Manager for the Meyer Business on the Frontlines Program in the Mendoza College of Business will lead, plan, and facilitate domestic and international travel and logistics efforts for program operations throughout the academic year. In addition to travel and logistics efforts, this position will also support, plan, and execute the logistics for several event and potential research opportunities throughout the academic year, including but not limited to course welcome dinners, retreats, and the annual Forum. This person will be a member of the Mendoza Graduate Programs Operations team which supports academic operations, student onboarding, and programming and events for all Mendoza Graduate Programs.
In addition to being a member of the MGP Operations team, this position will work closely with the Meyer Business on the Frontlines Program faculty team to advance the broader interests of the program to serve partners and their communities around the world.
While commitment to the Meyer Business on the Frontlines Programs is top priority for this position, they may also be called upon to support additional graduate program events and programming efforts in Mendoza, including by not limited to program orientations and commencement.

Minimum Qualifications: Experience / Skills Required: - Bachelors degree - 3 5 years work experience - Ability to think critically to develop and advance new ideas for the benefit of the program and its objectives - Demonstrated ability to establish strong working relationships with partners and ability to work effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders including faculty, university administrators, staff, students, donors, and external partners Detail oriented with the ability to adapt to rapidly changing conditions - Disciplined ability to think with strategic foresight and anticipate and plan for challenges before they occur - Culturally competent: associates effectively with people from different cultures, ethnicities, backgrounds, and identities. International and domestic travel will be required for 10% of this positions time.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the following areas is preferred: - 3 5 years work experience in a University setting - International and domestic travel logistics - Hospitality and event management
