The Department of German at Princeton University may have a need for one or more Lecturers to teach German language courses during the upcoming 2021-2022 academic year. Depending on the background of the candidate and the needs of the Department of German, responsibilities may include leading language sections, leading precepts, supervising graduate student teaching assistants, and participating in course and curriculum design. Appointment duty time will be based on course enrollments, and any available positions are expected to begin on September 1, 2021 or January 16, 2022. Essential Qualifications: Advanced degree required; Ph.D. preferred. Prior teaching experience at the college or university level.Native or near-native fluency in German.Proven experience teaching German at a university level.
