The USC Thornton Music Industry program prepares students to succeed in a rapidly evolving industry that is largely rooted in the Los Angeles area. The program offers an unparalleled education, blending academics, practical knowledge and hands-on experience for those seeking a career in all facets of the music business, including: artist management, the record industry, music publishing, data and analytics, live promotion and production, and arts management.Â

Minimum Education:Â a minimum of a bachelorâs degree or degree requirements may be substituted with at least five-years recent club touring experience at a supervisory level
Preferred Education:Â a bachelorâs degree
Preferred Experience:Â at least three-years recent club touring experience at a supervisory level. Teaching experience at a college or university, or in an online program specializing in touring at the club-level is a plus.
