This is a full-time, term limited position ending after two years from the hire date and is eligible for benefits. Before the end of the term, it could be considered for a term extension or for transition to an open-ended position.
A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary.
3 or more years demonstrated event management experience required.
Experience in a professional setting.
Solid knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office software is required.
Commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace.
Familiarity with database software (DART) is desirable.
Knowledge of running Zoom meetings and webinars.
Familiarity with teamwork.com, formstack.com, Cvent, and/or zkipster.com.
Non-profit volunteer experience.
Familiarity with the University of Michigan organization, policies, and procedures.
