USC Credit Union strives to be a trusted provider of objective financial education to our members so that they may make informed financial service decisions. The Real Estate Loan Officer sells real estate loans. They identify, cultivate, solicit, interview, and consult with prospective borrowers. They participate in and assist with development of real estate loan marketing strategies. They liaise with title companies, escrow companies, appraisal companies, real estate offices, government agencies, etc. to facilitate closing of loans. They have responsibility to cross sell members additional products and services, as appropriate. They must meet minimum monthly and annual sales goals.
This Real Estate Loan Officer is an expansion role focused on serving the local community surrounding USC's campuses. The local community has unique product and service needs requiring a broader array of non-traditional real estate loan products built for borrowers with lower incomes, less down payments and sometimes more challenging credit. This Loan Officer will need to have experience with community lending and possess strong interpersonal skills and a member service orientation.
Minimum Education: High school or equivalentMinimum Experience: 3 yearsMinimum Field of Expertise: Thorough knowledge of real estate lending. Demonstrated excellent written and verbal skills.
