The Revenue Cycle Administrative Analyst (RC Admin Analyst) will support various Administrative and Analytic functions within the Revenue Cycle, including Patient Financial Services and Patient Access. This position has dual reporting responsibility to the Director of Patient Financial Services and the Director of Patient Access. Daily Administrative responsibilities will include providing high level administrative support to both the PFS and Patient Access Directors, including but not limited to: maintaining calendars, assistance with staff timekeeping, budget analysis, purchase order approval and preparation, dashboard reporting and analysis.
The RC Admin Analyst is responsible to review reporting in an effort to ensure account information contains accurate and comprehensive data to provide timely billing and optimal reimbursement for services. Support provided by the RC Admin Analyst is intended to positively impact key performance within various Revenue Cycle areas of responsibility, including charge capture, coding, insurance identification, data entry, billing, payment posting, refund processing and collections. The RC Admin Analyst will be responsible for various tasks that are integrated with Patient Access and Business Office operations.
Six (6) years of related experience, education/training (Administrative experience within Revenue Cycle or Finance), OR a Bachelor's degree in related area plus two (2) years of related experience/training (Administrative experience within Revenue Cycle or Finance).
Thorough working knowledge of reporting instruments, metrics and/or dashboard design.
Strong proficiency in common database, spreadsheet and presentation software.
Demonstrated ability to summarize and present reports and presentations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to evaluate the effectiveness of workflows and systems.
Detail oriented, with organizational skills and ability to manage time efficiently, prioritize tasks, set schedules, and complete projects in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Excellent communications skills, with the ability to interpret and convey complex clinical finance information in a clear, concise manner, both in writing and verbally.
Proven interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment with internal staff in a wide variety of business and clinical areas.
Executive Administrative Experience.
Experience in a Finance or Revenue Cycle.
Experience in a health system environment.
Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Excel.
Experience creating dashboard type graphs/documents using Microsoft products.
Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
