Responsible for equipment setup and breakdown, programming scenarios into software, operation of software during simulation, ongoing maintenance of simulation equipment, troubleshooting, and system issues, providing technical assistance, support, and training to faculty in the use of equipment, as needed, assure all equipment is set up for courses, assist with special initiatives as needed, assist the Coordinator of Simulation and Interdisciplinary Education in equipment, budgeting, audiovisual support, and on-site simulator maintenance, participate in technical training, understand the use and operation of both high, medium and low-fidelity equipment.
Minimum Experience / Education:
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and one year of experience related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
University Preferred Qualifications:
Graduation from a four year college or university and at least four years of program associate experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Preferred Education Skills and Experience:
Formal education in a health-related field;
Previous simulation experience;
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications;
Excellent written and oral communication skills; and
Ability to effectively work with teams and individuals from diverse backgrounds.
