The School of Film is seeking engaging, part-time instructors to teach specialized courses in diasporic African film and media grounded in film and media studies. The school is interested in scholars and artists working within a broad understanding of diasporic African media and film traditions. Ideal applicants may also be asked to teach digital production courses related to the study of experimental and/or avant-garde film production practices as it relates to diasporic African media and cinema.
BA, BFA, or BS. 2 years teaching experience at college/university level.
MFA, MA, or Ph.D. 3-5 years teaching experience at college/university level. Demonstrated record of significant, recognized arts exhibition.
