This position will serve as the Trips Logistic and Student Development Coordinator for Outdoor Adventures. This position possesses the skills necessary to contribute in offering the university and greater Lincoln community broad-reaching outdoor and leadership programs. Coordinate and manage trip and academic class logistics and assist with the student development of leaders within a comprehensive collegiate outdoor recreation program. Develop and inspire leadership within our outdoor program while prepping these same students to be leaders in their chosen profession.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and one (1) year experience managing students in a collegiate outdoor program. Documented formal instruction, extensive leadership and programming experience in two or more of the following: indoor and/or outdoor climbing, paddling, backpacking, challenge course facilitation, or bike touring. A minimum of 100 total days in the field (including personal days) with 35-40 of those being professional trip leading experience. Wilderness Medicine, Backcountry experience participating in and leading backpacking, cycling and paddling trips demonstrated with a trip vitae.
Wilderness First Responder (WFR), possess a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
The ideal candidate may have a Master's degree. Teaching experience and/or formal leadership training. 'Leave No Trace' land ethics. Leave No Trace Trainer.
Posted Salary: $45,000/yr Minimum
