The Clinical Coordinator in Otolaryngology will be responsible for:
Plans, organizes and oversees daily clinical and administrative operations of Otolaryngology Department in Boston and Waltham, Weymouth, Lexington, Peabody and North Dartmouth.
Oversees Nursing Staff, NPs and Clinical Assistants which includes hiring and orientation.
Oversees staff schedules for Nurses, NPs and CAs and allocates resources and facilitates coordination of care/services to meet patient care and operations requirements.
Provides clinic coverage on a weekly basis and triages coverage as needed.
Develops, recommends and implements internal standards, policies and procedures to improve quality and cost-effectiveness of patient care.
Leads and participates in hospital, departmental and multidisciplinary programs, committees and special projects.
Oversees regulatory compliance for the Department and safety event reporting, and follows up with action plans.
Serves as a lead role ensuring compliance with COVD restrictions, communication regarding COVID changes with patients testing, procedures, etc.
Provides professional development and educational programs.
Working Four 10 hour shifts.
To qualify, you must have:
BSN and current RN license. A Master's Degree in Nursing preferred.
4-5 years RN experience and Leadership experience required.
Excellent leadership, team building and collaboration skills.
Analytical skills to resolve highly complex problems requiring the application of clinical, scientific or technical principles, theories, and concepts and in-depth, cross-functional experienced-based knowledge.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in order to effectively deal with conflicting views or issues and mediate fair solutions.
Excellent technology skills.
