The Program Coordinator I will be responsible for:
Coordinating activities and daily operations of the Airways team, specifically Asthma and Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia (BPD) specialties
Following up on testing and visits of assigned patients with other divisions within the enterprise
Running Quality Improvement (QI) projects; pulling specific data to be tracked within hospital systems
May prepare or assist in preparation of proposal for funding and funding continuation from outside sponsors
Conferring with staff and others to provide technical advice, problem solving assistance and answering questions about the program and its goals
May prepare or assist in the preparation of periodic reports and records on program activities, progress, status or other special reports for management or outside agencies
May review applications or other program documents in conjunction with supervisor to determine acceptance or make decisions pertaining to program
May assist in the coordination of recruitment efforts
Drafting written communication and promotional literature
Assisting in planning workshops, meetings or conferences, including annual CME workshop; coordinating logistics, scheduling and participant communications
Assisting with reimbursements, purchasing and payroll
Interacting and maintaining liaison with staff, faculty and outside/community agencies in facilitating program objectives
The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations
The ability to work with diverse internal and external constituencies
