The Yale University School of Medicine seeks applicants for a full-time faculty psychologist position providing clinical services to the Forensic Drug Diversion Clinic and the Division of Law and Psychiatry at the Connecticut Mental Health Center [CMHC] for July 2021 that will carry an academic appointment as Assistant Professor at the Yale School of Medicine. Outstanding clinical and teaching skills are required for roles in patient care as well as supervision of psychology post-doctoral fellows, psychiatry residents and fellows, and other trainees at CMHC.
The Connecticut Mental Health Center is a core site for training and research within Yale’s Department of Psychiatry. Experience providing evidence-based treatment to individuals with substance use disorders within the criminal justice system; forensic psychological evaluations (risk assessment, mitigation, immigration, military sexual trauma, competency to stand trial); providing consultation and testimony regarding forensic cases; creating and teaching courses on bias, racial stages of development, and substance use in criminal justice populations; and expertise in qualitative research is required.
