The Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking an Assistant or Associate Professor of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology effective July 1, 2021. The successful applicant will have: evidence of teaching or other specialty-related accomplishments; proficiency in the clinical practice of comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology, including gynecologic surgery; experience with organization of labor and delivery services; familiarity with design and implementation of professional practice guidelines. This position will include direct responsibility for the appropriate education and mentoring of residents enrolled in the program; responsibility for ensuring that the residents receive the appropriate clinical instruction and training consistent with the program objectives and sufficient to achieve proficiency in the relevant areas; involvement in the design teaching modules for resident obstetrics and gynecology training; and possible participation in an offsite practice that provides general obstetrics and gynecologic services.Â Â The position offers a competitive salary with excellent university benefits and an academic appointment at the Keck School of Medicine of USC appropriate to the level of training and experience.
Minimum education: MD Degree, active Physician and Surgeon certificate of the Medical Board of California
Minimum experience:Candidates must be Board certified in obstetrics and gynecology
