Columbia University seeks to hire a Staff Associate I for our Cryogenic Electron Microscope Core Facility (Cryo-EM Core). This state-of-the-art facility supports cryo-EM analysis of a wide variety of biological samples by a vibrant research community currently comprising ten laboratory groups and more than 50 scientists located on Columbia's Medical School, Manhattanville, and Morningside Heights campuses. We seek an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with a positive attitude who will provide technical support for this community. The focus of the position will be on microscope maintenance and other tasks needed to keep the facility running.
