We are seeking a Finance and Data Coordinator who will be responsible for managing financial information and data for effective and efficient Continuing Education & Workforce Development administration and programming. This is an excellent opportunity to join our team and work in higher education setting.
This is a full-time position.
Examples of Duties
Organize, maintain, and process financial information and records
Prepare timely and accurate financial reports while ensuring fiscal compliance
Oversee and prepare billing, payment, processing, and collections activities and records of students, third party payers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely and accurate payment
Coordinate and oversee departmental purchasing activities, including the processing of purchase requisitions and orders, ordering of supplies, and maintenance of inventory
Provide technical assistance and training on finance and administration procedures to department staff
Collect and analyze program data, including financial data, to improve program management and efficiencies
We are seeking candidates who have a proven ability to handle diverse tasks while working with a wide staff and colleagues, is results oriented, and motivated to support vital educational programming.
Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field required
Minimum of two years related experience, including supervisory experience, required
Strong computer skills required; experience using Colleague preferred
Outstanding problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills
Ability to work both independently and in diverse teams
Experience working on grant-funded projects a plus
