We are seeking a Coordinator of New EOF Student Experience to research, implement, document, and assess evidence-based recruitment and retention interventions to ensure that all new EOF students receive high impact support services at the college.
This is a full-time, administrative position.
Examples of Duties
Promotes the College and the EOF Program to prospective students and community partners
Liaises with campus based opportunity and academic support programs to onboard returning PCCC students into EOF
Develops and coordinates initiative that are designed to retain students in their first year of the EOF Program
Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with affinity groups on and off campus to enhance the experience as first-year students in the EOF Program
Trains and supervises an AmeriCorps VISTA or a part-time staff member who assists with on boarding and event planning for first-year EOF students
Teaches the College Success course for new EOF students
Advises individuals and groups of first year EOF students as needed
Perform other related duties as assigned by the EOF Director or a desginee
Master's degree required
Minimum of two years of administrative experience in working with programs in an urban setting
Ability to communicate effectively verbally, in writing, ant in interpersonal interactions
Ability to work with a diverse team of faculty, staff, and students
Ability to work with other college and community personnel in coordinating student support service
Sensitively to the needs of the student population of an urban community college
Proficient use of the Microsoft Suite including, but not limited to, Word and Excel
The completion of a background check will be required for the selected candidate.
